I have invested all that I want to invest in FinalCutSuite right now to do anything and everything.  However, FCP is no good for live chromo keying FX.  I tried to look at Adobe products websites for my fix.  Ultra has more software then I need or want to spend.  But the offers of Serious Magic that I can find is for Windows only.  So, How can I get a good keying software for the Mac with out buying all of Adobe's products (some of which I already have and don't want to have to buy them again)?  Is the software under a different name in the Adobe line of products.  Or, or I'm willing to listen to any other software options other then Serious Magic.

This industry sometimes forgets that there was a time in the not so distant past that the only time you got paid was when you woke up the next morning and went back to work. Earning royalties for something you did 20 years ago is only a recent phenomenon.

The only way I have seen and used live keying techniques was with hardware not software.

You can get video mixers/switchers that have chroma key capabilities, much easier and more reliable than software solutions.
