   Icons were created in Illustrator, animated in Adobe After Effects.

   I thought it was funny and the effects were cool.  how long did that take?

   It took about 3 months, but most of that was dedicated to design and committing to colors and the overall look. Once that was decided, it was about 2 weeks of nights and weekends to animate and refine the animation.
