I read an article in the September 2005 Videomaker magazine about transferring film to video. I purchased a nice Chinon variable speed projector and it works great. In the article they mentioned using a reflecor box. I have done a little searching but I'm not quite sure I have found what I'm looking for. I would like the reflector box rather than projecting on a screen to record with my camera. Any ideas where I can find one of these reflector boxes for this purpose?
Also, I think it may be best to clean and lubricate the film before transfer. Howerver I have no idea about this. What do I need to clean and lubricate super 8mm film and how do I do it, and where do I buy the stuff. Thanks in advance.

Any other advice for film to video transfer would be appreciated.
    Thanks

as far as the reflector box I think this is the kind of thing you need (someone correct me if I'm wrong):

As far as cleaning the film, I have no idea but I bet B&H is a good place to look.
