My old Sony VX2000 is giving me fits and we need to get a new camera. We're shooting a webisode series and need to find a good camera that's just as good or a slight upgrade. We still want one that allows us to hook on a boom mic and firewire cable.
The Sony Style store here in town has a HD cam for $3300. But that is a little over budget. Really we'd like to keep it under $2,000.
We saw that the Sony Sony HVR-1000U is about $1700...but I've seen mixed reviews on that.
Any suggestions?
