"Dream sequence" transition

   Does anyone know where I can find a transition that does the old-fashioned wavy dream sequence lead-in? Like in tv shows where people fall asleep or are recalling a memory. Think Brady Bunch and Gilligan's Island. I use iMovie mostly but also have Premiere 6.5. I may also buy Final Cut Express.

   I think 6.5 has most of the same video effects as PP2.0, which I use. 2.0 includes effects like ripple and wave warp that, combined with a gausian blur, may do what you want. Pinnacle's Studio software has a better ripple effect, and of course, After Effects does it all.
