After reading the last couple of issues of Videomaker's Buyers Guide, I found it lacking any form of a rating, similar to Consumer Reports, etc. When I see a "Buyers Guide", I expect it to be just that - a guide that provides the pros and cons of different equipment and software. Each item should be rated by Videomaker on a variety of categories, for it to be considered a true "Buyers Guide".

None of our buyer's guides will ever go beyond purely objective information. Our goal with the buyer's guides is to give our readers a jumping-off point in performing their own research on the products covered. Also, please see my response to this topic on episode 1 of "Videomaker Presents", our new Vidcast which is now available via iTunes.
