Hi. I would like to make a movie that consists of two movies, A and B. On the actual movie file, I would like it to play like this.

    A

    B

For those curious, Im trying to capture gameplay from a Nintendo DS, which has two screens on the top and bottom. I took 1 movie of the top, and 1 movie of the bottom. I would like to combine them as above to replicate the DS view.

Im currently using Pinnacle Studios 8.0, which I hope is advanced enough to pull off something like this.

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The Pinnacle Studio series has caused much baldness due to hair-pulling caused by its bugs and quirks. In fact, it is my belief that they are secretly owned by the Rogaine people. If you have pins stuck in a voodoo doll, placed just right and have your fingers crossed, you may be able to get Studio's PIP (picture-in-picture) function to do this for you.

Using a "real" editor like Premiere Pro or Vegas, this would be a snap. You'd just reduce the frame size of each of the two video tracks and position each where you want them. You can even use keyframes to animate sizing and movement of each displayed track.
