PrePro XMP metadata

   I fully appreciate the benefits of XMP metadata - in a larger or complex project.  I'm using CS5 Pre Pro mainly for experimental shots that are wholly self-contained and am finding the endless supply of XMP files is seriously hindering my workflow.  Can they be turned off - as in, generating, use, and archival of XMP files is optional and controllable?  Thanks, Dale

   Start>Search>Find files.  "*.xmp", right folder, and hit Search.

    

   Delete everything.
