post production for xh a1

   Any body can kindly advise the techniques for XH A1 post production. I am thinking of getting the camera, but I don't know if the post production support for the camera's format is ok. For example, if it requires any specific capture cards, computer software for it's Hight definition output.
   
   How about the frame rates? As I learn, the 24f frame rate adapted by XH A1 is likeness to 24p frame rate but not the true 24p, so would this be affectting postproduction process, would it be ok to render in 24 fps in that format? Any inter-media hard/software required for any convertions? Thanks for any suggestions.
