poor video quality hd platinum 10

    hi,

   i am not getting good video quality with vegas hd platinum 10 software with video from canon hfs10 camcorder. i have saved files with best quality settings as .wmv and .avi, both file types come out looking bad. grainy, not sharp, dull colors. the original files look great on the camera and projected onto tv. would appreciate any help on what settings to use to get good results. my videos from a non-HD point and shoot using window movie maker look much better....

   Try saving your files as Mt2 files that is HD or mpeg 2 which is basically the sane thing and then see how you quality comes out. you will see a difference I am sure
