Please in advance forgive my total lack of knowledge regarding this product and poor terminology. I have Premiere Elements 8, and whenever I drag a clip onto a timeline, the playback on the large screen is all discoloured. However, when I double-click the clip in the Media folder, it plays fine in the preview window. I can't seem to figure out how to fix this. I have tried rendering the clip (manually, with background rendering disabled) and I also read somewhere that said to disable the GPU Playback, but nothing has worked so far. Rendering in fact makes it worse, and seems to freeze it up. If someone can help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated!
