Playback Equipment Question

Hi,

I work at a resort that has a dedicated resort tv channel. Currently, we have a multi-disc dvd player that we loop our content on. I am looking to upgrade to a hard drive based recorder/player (like a regular DVR) that can hold at least 18 hours of video. Some other features i would like to have are:

• some kind of computer interface to set up the programming schedules, etc.
• ability to record from a dvd player
• remote access/control (over the internet, or direct cable).

Any suggestions on what kind of equipment i should get? I'm familiar with video editing, but am new to the broadcasting side.
