    I am just a beginner but I will purchase the AG HMC150.

   Question:  The optional AG MC2006 mic - Do I really need it?  The AG HMC 150 according to the brochure comes with stereo mic.

   Question:  Is there a video on how to use the AG HMC 150?

   Yes, I am not aware of any video available for AG HMC 150, however, there is a wonderful and helpful book written by Barry Green - the books is THE HMC 150 Book" a definitive guide to the HMC-150 AVCAM".

   I am sure you will this very helpful.  The Books is available through B&H video supply out of New York.

   Great Camera! It has the stereo built-in mic so you don't need the optional mic to start things off - of course it would help but you could get a better aftermarket mic.
