    Looking at getting an omnidirectional for outdoor sound recording. Not for voice but out in the woods, at the beach or at a football game. Ambient type sound. Budget is less than $50.00- $150.00

   Any suggestions?

    Check amazon.com for a shotgun mic. ;-) The ATR-55 is a good inexpensive shotgun mic.

   LOL. I already have two of those. They are directional. Correct? Dont you think I need one with a broad pattern?
