Nightshot through Glass...

   I am trying to video a fox that is visiting my garden at night. At the moment I am using the nightshot feature without the Night Shot Light. This is giving me a decent enough picture but it's not really giving me any detail of the fox. Turning on the inferred light does of course give me a much clearer nighttime picture but when I try to use it through the glass window I am getting just picking up the light as a reflection. Is there anyway of using the inferred light while shooting through glass but avoiding the reflection I am getting?
