  1. I would like to know if there is a way to see what FStop the Sony HDR AX2000 chooses in Auto so that I can use it in Manual.  If not available I am looking for a light meter or some device that will tell me what Fstop setting to use for the lighting conditions. Thanks

  2. I found the answer, which is to simply push the Iris button while the camera is set on Manual. I would like to know if there is a light meter that I can carry into the area where the subject will be recorded that will tell me what F Stop to set the camera?

This will do the trick nicely, check e-bay for cheaper versions. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/361574-REG/Gossen_GO_4033_Digipro_F_Flash.html
