.. in compressing high quality video files, transmitting them over Internet, editing, etc.

The project includes designing a system that would allow time sensitive videos to be send from multiple places to a central location, edited there, and returned back to be displayed and burnt on DVDs.

If you have such an expertise or know someone who does, please drop me an email viktoria.sazonova@assurantpreneed.com

Sounds like you need an FTP server. How big are the clips your gonna send back and forth? Broadcast quality? That could take a while.

I can assist you with you with your project.  Are you still in
need of assistance in compressing you videos for
transmission across a network and burning to DVD.  If so give
me more exact details of what you plan to do or what it is that
you actually need done.  For example do you have someone to
edit the videos?  Compress the videos? burn videos to DVD?
how often would the videos need to be created?

I can do all that, but like some of the other posts, my eyebrows are a bit raised at the prospect of transmiting "high-quality" video over the Internet. Bandwidth is expensive, and high-quality video eats bandwidth like crazy.

I not only can edit and compress your video, but I also own a hosting company - smbizhosting.com where your website with video can be posted for viewing.

Sorry I'm so late with this post. Best of luck with your project.

I am editing in final cut pro. I want to make one of those jumpy cuts where you speed up a section and then slow it down to normal speed. Whats the easiest way to make that happen? Thanks
