Making a still frame into a picture?

   Hello all. I wanted to know if it's possible to take a 20 sec shot, take one frame from it and turn into a picture file like .jpg.  I have iMovie and Final Cut Pro, so how do i do it? I haven't used FCP too much, so if it's possible to use iMovie, will someone tell me how or direct me to a page that will? Thanks.
