    Hi guys!

Could someone please enlighten me on some of the good lighting techniques that could be used for video production as i understand that lightings play a very important area in emphasizing the whole video.

thanks and hope to hear from you guys soon!

Check with LOWEL lighting. They have very good basics of the lighting on their web site http://lowel.com/edu/. And they have pretty good lights as well.

Light is your tool, not just a camera. Good luck.

You have to use soft lighting, especially with the HD.  Kino-Flo's are a must!  Lots of silks if you are using HMI's.  I'm not a fan of lowel kits.  They can do ok and I have definitely used them in a pinch or on a budget but Kino's are so cheap to rent now.  Check out... http://www.budgetvideo.com

    Good links listed above.
