LCD Screen Update

   OK... lots of views but no replies to my previous posts... it's alright. I shoot video... you can't hurt my feelings ;-)
   
   Anyway, I was worried that it might be a circuit board problem, but it still records just fine, and I can still view through the viewfinder. I did notice when I flip the screen, it works briefly at the half-way point before freezing up and going white.
   
   Could this be something a good cleaning will solve? I know the camera was subjected to alot of heat and humidity in Costa Rica. How would you go about cleaning the contacts for the flip out screen? Is this something a service cleaning would do?
   
   More questions... hopefully y'all have some answers!
