Keylight is an industry-proven blue/green screen keyer. The core algorithm was written by the Computer Film Company and has been refined on scores of films. It is simple to use and is particularly good at tackling reflections, semi-transparent areas and hair. Because spill suppression is built-in, often selecting the screen colour is all you need to do to pull the matte and seat the foreground into the background so it looks photographed rather than composited.

Keylight is bundled free with Adobe After Effects CS4. Check out some free tutorials on the web!

    keylight is the shiz...

The first time i really noticed how superior it was compared to the standard chroma keying tools was when I had to key a takeover project....the green screen footage was absolutely horrendous with tons of shadows, spill, bad lighting and the green screen was riddled with thousands of wrinkles.  Standard tools just weren't working...I thought the footage was garbage, never to be used...but then i decided to give keylight a try...with ONE CLICK of the mouse i had a near perfect key without having to adjust any of the advanced controls....It was just simply amazing!

    A must have!
