jvc gr-hd1u capturing help

   ok im having a problem.
   whenever i go to capture my HD footage it will record the entire video just fine, but after 10 mins of the capture, it stops capturing the audio and it just repeats.
   anyone know why.
   i just bought a new computer that is WAY more than needed to do the editing, i know this because i also own another HD camera and havent had a problem with this yet.
   
   please help me out. i need this audio for a wedding i filmed.

   I have the same camera, and I am sorry, but, I have nothing but bad new for you I am afraid. Its the Camera, and the format it uses.

   Some questions:

   -I assume you shot the video in HD?

   -What are you trying to import with?

   The gr-hd1u is only supported by about 3-5 no-name editors and importing software, it has no support from any of the major editors. I have got it to mostly work with FCP though.

   -Any-other details would be good also.
