In Between Shoots

   It has been some time since my last shoot, i was curious if anyone took any precautions in between shoots or anything i should do to optimize the preformance after letting it sit for a few days or weeks.
   
   I have noticed the minor glitches in my video, perticularly after a period of down time for the camera.
   
   Any advice would be helpful.
