Hi, I'm making a short horror film and I am looking for some suspenseful/thriller music to go with it. I'm looking for free downloadable music though. I am on a tight budget. If anyone could help me that would be awsome. :D

Go to http://www.twistedtracks.com and they have a $50 free gift certificate for registering (or logging in if you've been there before) good for anything on their site!

You could also try AcidPlanet (www.acidplanet.com) - I believe there are folks there who are willing to let you use their stuff.

Also Kevin MacLeod (http://www.incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/) allows free use as long as you give him credit (Creative Commons License).

I'd also suggest Peter John Ross' free songs that might be what you're looking for. Check out http://www.sonnyboo.com

Sony also has a new software called cinescore, there is a free 30 day trial, you could play with that and make some music, its really simple to use.
