This is my first post. I have been on for hours reading all this great info. I'm hoping for some help/ideas.

I am creating 2 to 3 min. movies on my imac in imovie and then burning it to the CD, I need to also play the same CD on my PC. It is not recognized on my PC. When I put in a CD that was formatted on my PC with Microsoft created files and then take it over to the mac to record the video on it it doesn't see it. I then have to restart the computer and hold down the mouse to eject the CD.

My question again is, "How do I get a movie clip created on my imac to play on my PC.

Help or suggestions is most appreciated.
    Thanks.

Can't you export the movie to IDVD and burn it to a DVD?

The mac only has a CD burner. It is one of the tow computers that I use for work.my computer in work.
We just decided to purchase a DVD recorder that has software for mac and pc. I'm hoping this will solve the problem. It's easier to solve a problem when it is your own money as oppose to going through an administrator for approval for such purchases.
    Thanks for your reply.

I am now exporting the clip and putting it onto a CD-R and it will now play on the PC.

I also just bought a DVD recorder from LaCie that will work on mac and pc.
    thanks again.
