I didn't attend but read about it in another forum. What was covered?

Overall, I thought it was pretty good. I was quite surprised at the large attendance. There was a choice of two subjects - editing and dvd authoring, with some intermixing for JVC to show off their new HD cam.

Obviously, not everyone was at the same level of expertise. I could tell just by who was asking what sort of questions. Very professional presenters who knew their stuff. The comparison of software left a lot out, but there wasn't enuf time to cover it all. Exploring Special Effects/Filters was good. Intro to Compositing was redundant. Easy 3D Titles and Animation was not what I expected, but I can tell you that Ulead Cool 3D is on my "must have" list.

    Phil,

When you install it, let me know how it runs. I used the trial version of version 2 or 3 (whatever the last one was) and got frustrated with how long it took to render short AVI sequences on my PIII 866, 512MB system. I know I need a faster PC, but the system requirements were only 450 or 500 MHz, so I expected more. Overall, I love the Ulead products, but I wish they came with better Help files and more documentation.
