How to transfer video from a Mini DV digital Camcorder

   I bought a Mini DV digital Camcorder recently but I don't know how to transfer video from it to my PC.
   
   The camera did not come with any type of cables to be connected to PCs and I do not know any thing about how to connect it-Through wich type of Cables-to which type of cards-....etc.
   
   I will appreciate it if any one helped my with my problem.

   More information is needed, What computer Mac or PC,
   inputs and outputs and are there any PCI slots available.
   If its a newer Computer you may already have the 1349
   connection.
   If you alredy have a 1349 or firewire conection all you need is a 1349 cable.
   If it's an older computer it may not be have the speed to allow you to input video.
