Hi, My company went global last week and I have a very real need to hire 3,000 plus freelance videographers. Any suggestions on how to reach the masses? My client is a national real estate company with over 90,000 agents. So, lots of work to go around.
    Thanks,
    Skye

Craigslist, is a great way to reach the masses in various large cities. An AD in videomaker and other magazines might also bring you what you are looking for.

I think whoever posted that request for 3,000 videographers is a flake.

Think about it - that's 60 videographers in each and every state. You could even cover Texas with fewer than a dozen (assuming once a week coverage would do for a slow-moving field like real estate).

Heck, 60 cameramen for one company, would be tripping all over each other in Rhode Island.

No wonder we haven't seen another post by "Skye".

This posting is from the CEO of GoLookInside.com. They just recently signed a nationwide contract with Real Estate company. For more info goto GoLookInside.com. If you are not interested, it only means more work for the rest of us.

  13. Oi!
This didn't happen to be for that basic cable station, did it?

Where else would there be a market for such a proliferation of video. Seems like a bit of overkill, to me.

Hi, I'm considered to be the best videographer where I'm from, in my hometown of Berea on Olympus mons, Mars. I've got the strategic edge over most earth videographers, because with the advanced martian technology we now have 4CCD cameras, not those cheap 3CCD units earthlings use. Please, if you're still interested, give me a call at intergalactic dialing code Z84, Planetary code S4, Area code 2039, Number 230-444A56.

PS Sorry it took me almost two years since the original posting date. The subspace telecom has been slow lately, and the PDSL high speed subspace service isn't available in Berea yet!

    :-D

Seriously guys, I've seen more realistic horse feathers than this in my day.

On the other hand, I was recently contacted by the producers of "Wild Weddings" on TLC for footage. I've never had any of those weird things happen in a wedding, so if any of you have, send me the footage and I'll split the prize money if it's used on air.
