Alright, I have my videos, I want to put them on the net. But there are some problems. One is that they are too big to put on the net ( file size ). Every time I try to knock down the file size I loose quality, and it goes into little blocks... so does anyone know a way to knock down the size and still keep good quality? Any good programs out there that could help out? Also how do you set it up on the net? I know some people have it so that when they get on a site they can see the video screen right there all they do is push play. Others you have to click a link and your own media player loads up and has to then load the file and then play. I just want to be able for people to see it right there on my site.

Thanks to anyone that can help

To get your videos files smaller you need to use a program that does video compression such as Sorenson Compression Suite. It's available at http://www.sorenson.com. The Compression Suite is available for MAC and PC. One note about the MAC version is that it will not encode to the Windows Media format. Both versions encode to QuickTime, Real, MPEG1 and Flash.

Also, I am assuming you are exporting your videos out of your non-linear editor? What are you exporting out as? What format do you want to encode to Windows Media, Real, QuickTime or Flash?

If you have additional questions about setting your videos up on the net, shoot me an e-mail off-line. It's a lot of information to cover.
