I'm interestested in low-cost plans for making home-made dollys and plans for making tracks for the dolly's so the shot will be very smooth

A great looking book is available on how to make your own camera rigs and stuff: http://www.dvcamerarigs.com/

That should be enough to help get you started. Have FUN!

  4. Thanks so much for the plug on my book "Killer Camera Rigs That You Can Build"! Once you have a dolly, put a short jib on there! While I'm sure most people buy my book for the stabilizer plans, they find the most used rigs in the book are the dolly combined with the "Killer's Kiss Crane". They are designed to work together, are super easy to make, and are a killer combination.
