    Hello all.Could someone please explain to me how to read camcorder histograms?Thank you.

    The histogram tells you how many pixels are in the black/dark ranges, mid ranges, and white/highlight ranges. The higher the spike, the more pixels there are in that range.

    I don't find the histogram necessary. A waveform monitor and vectorscope are the important things to look at if you are delivering for broadcast.
