High Def Models / Formats

   Now that I'm looking to get into HD, I need to do some homework.  Is there a resource that explains HDCAM, DVCPRO, XDCAM, HDV, AVCHD, and etc.  Pros, Cons, ideal uses for each?

   Also, camera model compairison tables would be nice.  Are there any published anywhere comparing features of Sony, JVC, Panasonic...?

    As your interest pertains to a bevy of cameras and formats, you might get a bit of solid information on MODELS at http://www.camcorderinfo.com. Dunno if they have comparison tables, but their information/reviews is extensive.
