I need help. I edit my dv video on Adobe Premiere, then put it back to dv tape for optimal quality. I then "capture" it to my DVD authoring program (currently using Roxio DVD builder 6). When I play back my DVD, the video has lost quality and plays with a bit of pixelation. What am I doing wrong? Could it be the software? Codecs? Anything will help. I am not the most technologocal person, but have a basic understanding of it all. Thanks.

I don't think that "quality" is something that can be added, only lost.

The extra steps you're taking to and from your camcorder are likely recompressing and causing your problems.

Import your NLE's file directly into your authoring software and see if that doesn't solve the problem. If not, I'd look into your sofware settings in both NLE and authoring program.
