Help! Question about HVR Z1U iris....

   As I pan from inside a room to a window, the iris compensates and makes my inside shot too dark as it tries to reduce the overexposure of the window shot.  I am used to editing out the overexposed windows, but it looks like I need to practice on the iris dial.  Does anyone know how I can lock the iris in place and just edit out the overexposed window???  I want the exposure to remain in a locked position with no compensation.

   your camera didn't come with a maunal? Look in the index for exposure or manual exposure or manual controls.
