Help figuring out how to do this effect

   If anyone wants to watch this video and help me figure out how to do the hand effect with Avid liquid 7 and a GL2 that would be great.

    mask out the area inside the hands so that it creates a hole in that layer. then place a layer of video underneath the masked layer.

    It may be tricky at first but im sure you'll get the hang of it. after a few goes
