Help exporting in APP 1.5 for internet video

   I'm using APP 1.5 to edit and an old sony digital 8 cam.  When I export my videos to be put on the web they look fine but after they are uploaded to websites they look very grainy and I believe I am using the highest quality settings.  A few of the videos in the most recent contest on videomaker.com used a camera a model up from mine and their videos are much clearer.  Any suggestions
