H.264 Compression??

   Will Sony Vegas Pro 8 be able to edit H.264 compressed video.....????

    I don't think any programs edit H.264, but I could be wrong. 

   I noticed in FCP (which I know you're not using) you can create a custom set up for your timeline. It doesn't have h.264 as an option, but it allows for square pixel aspect ratio and 640X480 editing. 

   Maybe that would work, I never tried it.
