GL2 making squeak sounds + giving grainy image

   So just recently my GL2, when being controlled by final cut and is rewinding slowly, is giving a squeaky sound as if pieces are rubbing against each other and then the famous error blocks on the picture come up that only usually come up when the heads are dirty. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but even though the gain is all the way down and im shooting in full sun light, my camera has been recording really grainy images. I ran the head cleaner already and in fact have a feeling that could've been the cause. Any insight?
