    Canon website lets you run a product comparitor. Suggestion might be to give it a try.

   Both appear to be PAL though there appears to be a NTSC version of the 200 as well. 306 allows 32Gb SDHC. 200 allows 16Gb SDHC and looks like PAL version might have a video light. Lots of similarities some differences. Looks like it would depend on usage what your choice might be.
