I own a JVC GZ-MG130U, 30 GB, 34X Optical Zoom, Hard Disk CC. Last month I started trying to keep a video diary of my nocturnal seizures. In order to get a good video I dim the room lights and the light above my head. On the camera I have the backlight compensation indicator on, the nightalive indicator on, and the camera light on. I review the video and notice when I move it looks as if I move in slow motion. Have I not set something on the camera or is that the camera. I have also noticed that the camera looks like it goes in and out of focus. It's as if the automatic focus cannot set.
What is the advice for infrared lighting or bulbs? Of course, this lighting would have to last for a full nights sleep that is why I question if there are any bulbs.
Is there a camcorder better for this type of project that will last many years.
