Our web server's hard drive crashed on the evening of Wednesday the 10th, taking with it an entire month of postings. Everything magazine-related came back online mid-day Thursday. We've had a multitude of database issues with the forums but it appears that we're back now.

Looks like it took out ALL posts? There are only 3 forums? Where did everything else go?

In light of the lost posts, I've archived everything that we did have backups for. (All of these posts can still be searched.) As participants return and begin to post again, the category headers will show up and begin to populate. -Charles Fulton, Associate Editor, Videomaker Magazine

I too was wondering what happened to everyone's posts that used to be up but now gone. I guess that's just something that you have to beware of in the fact that computers can crash and take everything with them unless you've backed up
    all your data.
I should back up all my important data just in case my computer crashes on me which it has done from time to time, but not very often.
Good to hear you're back in business. Tunes Man.
