    Hello Everybody,

I was just wondering if any of you guys know where I can get a good program to do fire effects... Like make it look like a building goes up in flames and blows up and stuff. Kind of like what you see in action movies, like the Bourne Ultimatum. I use Sony Vegas for normal video editing, but I need a program to do the more advanced video effects like that.

Here is an example of what I mean. The effect is nearly at the end of this short 1 minute clip.

    Get the Flash Video

    Thanks,
    Brenden

Fractal noise in Adobe After Effects. There are also lots of royalty free stock footage libraries that offer shots of fire that you can easily composite into your videos.

a good site for that type of stock footage is

    http://www.detonationfilms.com

if you look, there's some free stuff, but I don't think they would have the footage to composite a building blowing up.
