Final cut's viewer window lags

   i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix a problem where the viewer (preview) window was lagging, the audio plays fine but the video is realy slow and jumpy.

   Can you tell me what type of video you're playing in the preview window? (DV, HDV, uncompressed, etc.)?

   what are the specs on your MAC?
   
   Your computer might just be to slow.
