Every time I try to capture video from my camcorder using Final Cut Express 1.0, it is always limited to 30 minutes. Is there a way to change this so there is no limit?

I'm not sure if Final Cut Express 1.0 has this option, but this is how it's done on Final Cut Pro:

    File > Log and Capture

    Click on "Capture Settings" tab

    Click on "Scratch Disks..." button

Set "Limit Capture Now To": xx Minutes

If you don't see that option in Final Cut Express 1.0, you probably can't change it.

I accessed the Scratch Disks settings a little differently than how you informed me. I was able to restrict FCE from putting a limit on the capturing. Thanks for the help.
