Field Monitor for XHA1

     Wondering what options I have as far as HD field monitors to set shots, focus, etc. I was thinking of  this sony hd dvd player...http://ployer.com/archives/2007/06/14/sony-dvp-fx850.jpg

    any other recommendations?

    Dream,

    That might work in a pinch, but it's really not designed for production. If you're rollin' on the cheaper end, you should take a look at some of these small mountable monitors:

    Also another option is a Sony Clamshell, but you'll have to check the reviews as to whether it's compatible with Canon Rigs. I use a canon DV and a JVC HD rig and they work fine with it. There might be a conflict with the 'F' framerate the canon HD cams use. However, if you're shooting in 1080i it might work just fine.
