Fade to White?

   It seems like this sould be easy but, I just can't think of a simple way to do this. Using Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0, how do I fade to white, as aposed to black. I can change the brightness of course but it affects the whole clip, I want it to fade. Slowly wash out until its completely white or start white and "fade" to the correct color. Thanks in advance.

   Have your video clip, and either before or after (whichever you want) put a white color matte or image. Even make a white picture in microsoft Paint and import it. Then do a cross-dissolve between the two.
