A friend has requested a .mov file version of a promo video I did about a month ago. I've never exported to .mov before as I generally use Flash video formats. I'm also a PC user, not a Mac user. I'm using Premiere Pro CS5 and I can't find an option to export to .mov or Quicktime formats which I don't understand because they are quite widely used, are they not?

I can't speak to Premiere (not an Adobe guy) but QuickTime Pro will take various inputs and export as MOV with good results.

Any reason they want MOV as opposed to other formats (MP4, MPG, WMV, etc...)?

And yes, MOV files are widely used by many, including me.
