echoed like sound

    hey guys I am new to this forum, and i was wondering if you guys could help me achieve this echoed like effect in "land of the dead" trailer in the begining.

    Hmm, if you have any editing software, you should be able to aquire that kind of sound by using the "reverb" effect.

    Well, using Final Cut Express HD, What I do is: I select the audio clip, go into audio filters (on final cut >.>) find Reverberation, and then adjust your sliders until you come up with a satisfactory echoe ;-)

    I didn't click the link, but you can also cook up your own echo effect by copying your audio track, paste to the track below (or above) and set it several frames back. Then play with deepening the tone and adding more tracks.

    If you're miking the audio yourself, use two or more mics with the first nice & close to your speaker's lips, then each sucessive mic placed much further away, then slide the tracks back a few frames, etc.
