I have some questions about the Panasonic DVX100b that I cannot find an answer to. So anyone who owns one would be a great help:

Does it have a programmable zoom and focus option?

    Does is have Presets options?

What kind of lens mount capabilities does it have, just a standard threaded screw mount?

    Thomas,

The 100b displays a readout of both focus and zoom length. If you are the "programmer", then you can accurately repeat changes in focus and zoom. But the camera does not do it for you automatically.

It has a 72mm thread on the lens, and a bayonet mount for the lens hood.

Panasonic's CineSwitch technology is some of the best in the business. It is a kind of Preset option where you can save and share multiple custom setups.
