I recently did a DVD for a 50th wedding anniversary. I purchased some
sweet DVD folios that I wanted to have some custom imprinting on but the
place I usually go in town (LA) only prints on items they sell, and the
site where I ordered these Folios from only imprint a minimum of 100. I
only need 7. Is there any solution to get a custom text on the folios
without imprinting. i.e. a adhesive tag that looks fancy or am I just
screwed?

You can design and print it out on your printer. That's why they come that way. Everyone wants to do their own. If you're not good at that, have a friend do it for you. It's very inexpensive.
